In CO.PT you can register a .co.pt and .lda.pt domain. The registration is formality free and is available for companies, entities or individuals, in conformity/compliance with the Terms and Conditions of the service.
The registration procedure is done online, in real time and the domain is active in few minutes.
The procedure is constituted by the following stages: domain search, domain options, form fulfilling, data confirmation and payment.

2. PREVIOUS SEARCH

To register a domain, you should start for verifying if the same is available. For that, you have to search the domain you would like in the search field:

The chosen domain must have 2 to 50 characters, cannot start or end with the character '-' and has to be exclusively constituted by the following characters:

If the chosen domain is not available, choose another and search for it again.

4. FORM FULFILLING

After selecting the service adjusted for your domain, you will have to fill the register form.
Fields marked with an asterisk * are required.
After filling the requested data in the register form, click "Continue".

5. DATA CONFIRMATION

After submitting the form you have to confirm the data. Verify carefully if the data are correct.
If you detect some error in the submitted data, click "Modify" to go back to the register form.
If the data are correct, click "Register". By clicking "Register", you agree to the Terms an Conditions of the service.

7. DOMAIN ACTIVATION

Your domain will be active in few minutes after finishing the registration process.
This is a temporary activation. In the date of reception of the payment, the activation will be definitive.

The domain name will be reserved for a period of 15 days. In the event of not receiving the respective payment, the domain will be suspended.
The domain can be reinstated by means of its payment.
You will be notified by email of the definitive activation or automatic suspension of your domain.
